Seasons Greetings

Membership

The club has a range of great membership packages for 2014.

Fees of €1195 for full and €895 for 5 day membership compare very favorably with offers from other clubs in the Dublin region and any new members joining will get €200 back on their card to be spent in the bar (€150 for 5 day membership), in addition to 10 free Green Fees.

Junior membership prices for 2014 (incl. GUI & Insurance) are as follows:

Boys and Girls 10 – 15 €100
Boys and Girls 16 – 17 €125
Boys and Girls 18 – 20/College Students €175
Intermediate     21 – 25 €450

We believe we have an attractive and competitive offer that will allow people to join a course that has consistently proven itself immune to the Irish weather, and therefore continues to offer great value even in the current economic climate. The successful integration of new members in 2013 has once again shown how friendly and welcoming our members are towards our latest recruits.

The Beginner Trial Scheme is open to all beginner golfers. The scheme is for six months and provides access to the golf course five days a week (Mon-Fri) at a cost of €375; personal insurance is included in the cost. The person can select any six consecutive months and can avail of the scheme a maximum of two times; at which stage it is hoped the golfer is ready to apply for full membership of the club.

www.golfeveryday.ie is our new promotional website advertising and attracting new members. For more information about joining Rush Golf Club, contact Noeline Quirke on 8438177 or email: info@rushgolfclub.com

Locker Rooms

The committees would like to thank all members for their cooperation and the removal of golf equipment and trolleys from the locker rooms.

Course Update

At the moment, the course is in very good condition and the improvement in the greens coupled with the current mild weather is resulting in excellent golfing conditions for this time of year.

In order to preserve the fairways, mats will be introduced effective from TuesdayDec 24th 2013. Mats are available to purchase from the office or the bar – €6 each.

On Friday 27th Dec, first Tee-off will be 9.30am to allow for the greens to be cut and Tee box marker to be moved following the 3 day Christmas period.

We would like to thank members for their patience throughout 2013.

Voluntary work on the course

Rush Golf Club would like to thank all the volunteers who worked on the course during the year, planting, weeding, and watering flowers, tidying the car park and all the pathways and around the tees. The volunteers still meet every Tuesday at 9.30am, and we are always looking for new volunteers.
