Taylormade will make a return to Rush Golf Club on MAY 10TH 2022. We look forward to welcoming them back for another great day. If you would like to get fitted on the day please contact the Proshop with your name, email address, contact number and what you would like to be fitted for. Please note, in the past we have had huge demand on these fitting days so please be sure you mark it in your diary. Times for fitting are between 2pmand 6pm every half hour. Times are filling up so get on to us now.

The Interclub Draws have been released so we are getting ready for all these matches and events. Please support the interclub matches that we are hosting and give our players the support and encouragement on match day. Regarding team sweaters, the Proshop has placed an order for Club sweaters. There will be some (very little) extra stock of this product on the shelves. In the past the shop has been left with a lot of this product with very little demand so thank you to all who ordered a sweater…It was a big help.
The great news that our Internal Matchplay Events will be launching on Apil 1st came this week…we are delighted to see the return of the Mens Cusack Cup, Mens Club Foursomes, Mens Club Championship, Ladies Sandown Cup and of course the Mixed Farrell Cup for 2022. You can sign up to any of the matchplay events via your CLUB V1 App from April 1st until April 30th. All details for each event can be found on the app or on the notice board in the mens Locke room hallway or in the ladies locker room.​

Many of you would have seen our social media post during the week but if you missed it …..This week we were so proud of Juniors Lily Clarke and Junior Captain 2022 Bronagh Mc Cormack as they battle it out representing Rush and of course Loreto Balbriggan in the Annual Loreto Golf Day held at Clontarf Golf Club. I played in this event many moons ago and to see two of our own girls playing in it now is a great cause for celebration and just to know our girls section at Rush Golf Club is stronger than ever. WELL DONE GIRLS.

So as many have out it I’m off on my holidays from today…I will be floating around the club until D Day but if anyone wishes to speak with me I’m always on the other end of the phone, I might not answer but I will be there or you can talk to Joe…. A phrase that will be used a lot over the next few weeks. Joe Burke will be taking on a full position from today and I can only hope you all support him s much as you support me …Cormac Hegarty that means he gets jambons and sausages rolls on a Sunday Morning…. Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement and support and I hope to return bright eyed and bushy tailed for the Lady Captains Day in June…. But don’t fret I will be keeping in touch via the weekly email and beyond.
