The following information provides clarity on the playing rights of our Junior Members and responsibilities placed on the Junior Members at Rush Golf Club.
ALL JUNIOR PARENTS/ GUARDIANS MUST SIGN THE JUNIOR CONTRACT BEFORE DAY 1 OF THE JUNIOR PROGRAM EACH YEAR.
Junior Day: MONDAYS 9am -1pm (June through August 2022)
Our Junior Program has seen an increase in participation since 2020 and we are currently taking names on a waiting list basis. Juniors who wish to be placed on the waiting list can contact the Proshop to do so on

Juniors can play on the following days
Monday - All day
Tuesday- All day
Friday- All day
Saturday & Sunday - after the weekend competition ends
Juniors over the age of 16 may play without an adult on the above days - All other juniors MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Juniors over the age of 14 and under the age of 16 MUST be signed off by the Junior Convenor in order to play without an adult.
Juniors are NOT permitted to bring a junior visitor unless the junior visitor is over 18.
Juniors are required to book onto the timesheets by calling the Proshop. The Proshop will advise the Junior if their selected time is a suitable time to play and will offer an alternative tee time if this is the case.​
Juniors who wish to play in a Club Competition outside of Junior Competitions must uphold the following criteria
Juniors MUST hold a WHS offical Rush Golf Club Handicap.
Juniors MUST be over 16 and / or hold a WHS of 18 or below.
Juniors over 16 and under 18 MUST have an adult with them playing in club competitions.
Both the adult and junior MUST know each other.
There MUST be a minimum of 1 adult per junior on the competition line.
Juniors are not eligible to enter major club competitions including but not limited to the Captains Prize or Presidents Prize.
The above rules are in place to provide both the junior and adult a safe competitive environment where they can develop their game of golf.
All above rules are approved and signed off by: The Mens Club Committee, The Ladies Club Committee & The Junior Committee and adhere to all Junior Golf Protocols and guidance from Junior Golf Ireland
JUNIOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Juniors should be aware that a golf course can be a dangerous environment if the correct protocols and etiquette are not followed while on the course and around the clubhouse.
Juniors should show the following etiquette when at the club:

Be courteous and polite to all other members.

Show respect to fellow members, staff and officers of the club.

Allow full members play through on the course if necessary.

Be aware of the rules of golf before entering the golf course.

Respect other members property.

Be aware of the current dress code of Rush Golf Club ( This can be found under Policies in the Members Area)
