Rush Golf Club - Junior Scratch Cup 2019

Our Golfers were eager and up early on Monday morning ready to battle it out for the Junior Scratch Cup 2019 here at Rush Golf Club. We had golfers fromSkerries, Ashbourne, Laytown, Dunmurry Springsand St Margaret’sand of course our own RushMembers. The weather held up beautifully and the course was a pleasure to play. Our green keepers must have been in a bad mood setting out those pins or else they were out for revenge, but it was clearly a great test of golf. I couldn’t be happy to announce the Winner of our Junior Scratch Cup 2019 was our own GERRY LANGANwith a score of 74 Gross playing off 8. If ever there was a worthy winner it would be Gerry. Supported on the day by Ciaran Fynes, Declan Kelly and Kitser Carrick. Gerry attributed his game to his company on the day and while he may have though these days of wining junior scratches cup were over, Gerry your name is on the cup for many years to come.
