Liam Mc Gavisk joined us from neighbouring club Skerries almost 3 years ago now and he has proved to be a force on the course. With a swing speed that would give you whiplash at a glance Liam is making his mark not just at our club but beyond. Liam has also made it through to the round robin stages of the club championship 2021.
Not content with seeing all the glory unfold in Toyko, our own Liam McGavisk topped the podium at Donabate in their Junior Scratch Cup. The Giddy Goat plotted his way around in an impressive 72, two full strokes clear of Peter Byrne. Liam was apparently inspired to victory by his playing partner John Charters who stopped complaining long enough to post a creditable score himself on the day. The Rush delegation (messers Charters, Quinn and Armstrong) all fared well away from the Links, which bodes well for our grand plans of InterClub domination in years to come.
