Rush Golf Club appointed Dearbhla Behan as their PGA Golf Professional in November 2017.

Dearbhla qualified from Waterford IT in 2010 with an Honour’s Degree in Exercise and Health Studies before undertaking the PGA Training Program in 2012.

 

Dearbhla began her PGA Training under the guidance of Senior European Tour player Brendan Mc Govern in Headfort Golf Club, Co Kells and progressed into golf retail for the remainder of her training at McGuirks Golf.

Dearbhla has developed numerous Junior Golf Programs, Womens Get into Golf Programs and inter-club Team Coaching sessions with a keen interest in merging both Golf and Fitness into each program.

As a member of the Women's Taylormade Advisory Board 2024 Dearbhla is part of an elite group of Women who are working on developing Women's golf, not only in Ireland but around the world.
